Basic Equipment
- A tent is obviously the most basic piece of camping equipment you need. Here is a simple but sturdy 2 person tent to get you started.
- Camp chairs that are foldable and compact are really useful for spending time around the fire. Link to a 2 pack of folding camp chairs here!
Bedding
- The type of sleeping bag you need will vary on your environment. We really like the Marmot Never Summer for really cold climates. This one is better suited for warmer environments.
- Inflatable sleeping pads keep you insulated from the cold of the ground and make for a softer sleep. As we’ve said before, these are a total game changer in camping.
Food and Drink
- Camp dining wear should be light and portable, and easy to wash with limited water. You can find a compact set here.
- It’s important to have a reliable cooler so that your food doesn’t spoil. This one comes in multiple different sizes and colors.
Lights
- Campfire firestarters are a really easy way to start a fire if you are a novice, or even if you are a pro and want to start a fire quickly. These ones are 30% off with coupon!
- We highly recommend packing headlamps so you can easily navigate around your campsite in the dark. They are great for safety as well. We really like our Duracell ones as they are really bright and last a long time.
- This inflatable solar light is a fun small source of light and changes different colors! Since it’s inflatable, it’s really easy to pack.
Entertainment
- Hammocks are an easy way to relax and enjoy nature. They can be either single or double to spend time with your special person.
- Telescoping s’mores sticks for maximum after-dinner deliciousness. Try not to burn too many marshmallows!
P.S. Have you heard of Honey? Its a quick and easy Chrome extension that searches the internet for coupons and applies them to your order automatically. We have saved tons of money with Honey and recommend you do the same!
